Differences Between Fue and Fut Hair Transplant Techniques

Although the appearance is almost similar after hair transplantation, there are differences between techniques.

These differences;

FUE HAIR TECHNIQUE

  • Hair follicles are transplanted one by one.
  • 140-160 roots per cm can be planted in the planting area.
  • There is no need for stitches in the donor area.
  • There may be a small amount of bleeding.
  • There is no incision after the procedure.
  • Since the hair follicles will be taken one by one, the hair should be cut before the operation.
  • 95 hairs grow from 100 hair follicles.
  • The process takes 8-10 hours.
  • Hair follicles in the nape or other parts of the body are used as donors.
  • Healthy and strong hair follicles are selected and transplanted.
  • It is sufficient to rest for 3-4 days after the operation.
  • There is no swelling in the eyes after the operation.
  • Hair roots remain in their natural structure.
  • Eyebrows, beard, mustache and eyelashes can be planted.
  • Since anesthesia is not applied, there is no feeling of drowsiness.
  • The second session is done within a week.
  • There is no need for postoperative dressing as there is no surgical intervention.
  • Hair follicles taken from the donor area are placed in the transplantation area without waiting.
  • As the quality hair follicles are taken while the hair is taken, 100% hair is transplanted.
  • No pain is felt after the procedure.
  • The fee depends on the hair follicle to be transplanted.

FUT HAIR TECHNIQUE

  • Hair roots are planted in strips.
  • 60 roots can be planted per cm in the planting area.
  • Since the incision is made in the donor area, stitches are required.
  • Bleeding occurs as it is a surgical procedure.
  • After the procedure, there may be a 20 cm incision scar.
  • Hair does not need to be cut before the operation.
  • An average of 80 hairs grow from 100 hair follicles.
  • The process takes 5-7 hours.
  • Hair follicles in the nape area are used as donors.
  • Hair follicles are taken in strips and transplanted.
  • It is necessary to rest for 10-20 days after the operation.
  • There may be swelling in the eyes after the operation.
  • There will be slight dimples on the scalp.
  • Only hair transplantation is done.
  • Due to the incision of the nape section and local anesthesia, a feeling of numbness is experienced for 6 months in the area where the incision was made.
  • The second session can be done months later.
  • Postoperative dressing is required.
  • Transplantation is performed after the hair follicles taken from the donor area are kept for 3-4 hours.
  • Since the hairs taken from the nape are extracted, approximately 80% of the hair is transplanted.
  • Since pain may be felt after the procedure, it is recommended to use painkillers.
  • The fee is fixed, it does not change.
